God's grace woven through our stories

Foster Katubiya Foundation
Foster Katubiya is a person with a physical disability and the founder of the Foster Katubiya Foundation, established in 2019 and officially registered on 1 October 2020.

The foundation’s mission and values are rooted in two biblical passages:
-
Exodus 22:22
-
Matthew 25:25–26

The organization currently supports:
-
15 orphans
-
10 widows
-
10 individuals who are less privileged
-
25 persons with various disabilities

The foundation believes deeply in caring for orphans, widows, and the less privileged within the community. They view this work as a calling from God and a blessing to those who serve and those who receive support.
The organization now owns two knitting machines and one sewing machine, which are used to produce a variety of items including jerseys, door mats, ladies’ hats, men’s hats, aprons, school bags, handbags, laptop bags, and toiletry bags. They also rear chickens as part of their income‑generating activities.
In a remarkable blessing, The Weave Foundation purchased three hectares of land for the organization. The team gives all glory to God and expresses deep gratitude for this provision.
The Foster Katubiya Foundation is trusting God for the resources to develop this land by building:
-
A 3×3 classroom block
-
An ablution block
-
An organization house
-
Two 4‑room poultry houses
-
A water tank

One hectare of the land will be dedicated to farming. The foundation also hopes to begin offering classes for widows in knitting, tailoring, and door‑mat production on the same site.
