Destiny for Zambian Youths

Destiny for Zambian youths is a Christian youth organisation whose mission is to equip youths in our
community to discover and attain their God-given destiny based on Jeremiah 1:1-5.
 

Destiny for Zambian youths was founded in 2014 by Pastor James Phiri. Destiny runs a soccer
academy as an outreach tool with the aim of reaching out to children and youth in the community
with a passion for sport. Destiny also runs a chapel for youths to attend every Friday.
As an academy, destiny has teams with sub categories; boys u12, u15 and u20 and girls u17. The u15
team plays in the district league and the u20s are playing friendly matches at provincial level in
preparation for the provincial league next season. The girls team also play friendlies.
 

The objectives of Destiny for Zambian Youths are as follows:
1. Teaching youths to be God fearing so that they become morally upright
2. Teaching youths the right marriage foundation
3. Teaching youths to attain their God-given vision
4. Supporting sports in the community

Destiny also runs a community school in Chichele, under the supporting education act. This school is
welcoming back four young boys who were out of schooling due to financial difficulties, so we praise
God for this provision.
 

Our goals for this year are for the u20s team to enter the provincial league and start an income
generating project that can sustain the school and support the academy in terms of transport.
In future we hope that destiny will have a club house where players can be kept as they develop into
responsible adults, professional footballers and effective farmers.
Destiny is run by the Phiri family on a full time basis.
